@paulskrtic@tweezak I would just like to know if you have fully reviewed the nefarious things ring is used for. maybe check if flock cameras are being used in your area. Which need to be removed.
How do you feel about wide spread face recognition? Never mind facebooks perve glasses? every move you make being tracked? Fed into AI
You have to keep in mind all this data is going to companies so they can mine you. Profit off you. Manipulate you. To make money. And being provided to the government in some cases.
You can pull that “well I have nothing to hide” until they weaponize it against you.
I live in an area where it’s not worth it/my vote will never matter. But the very idea. Of what these insane oligarchs are doing with the assistance of the federal government and local government to take land. And power. And water.
LLMs are not good in general and should be haulted by regulation that the 70 plus year olds in the Senate will never get.
If there is a path forward it just be for the good of humanity not these psychopathic tech bros
@Kyeh I’m not sure which is worse. I’ve left gas appliances on before but I was still in the house. With the CO/smoke alarms. I have ruined a nonstick pan. Some were work-related emergencies so I went to the basement and just… forgot
@unksol So far the only time I have left burners on is while I’m home, luckily; I’ve noticed because I smell the metal starting to get too hot. So no melted pots. Once though I was in my garage and I had lentils in a pan that boiled dry. That left an awful burnt smell for days.
@Kyeh you could definitely smell the nonstick when on the same floor plus burning but heat rises. “Office” is in the basement.
Current pans are stainless steel/cast iron pans/enambled cast iron. Which are mostly recoverable but I haven’t burned a whole meal in one lol. Have had something in the oven and the heat shuts off after the timer. But… Need to check these jobs etc… Burned plenty in the oven lol
@unksol That is the traditional leak check, yes! But, he is so large, and has so many potential leaks, that it would be an ambitious undertaking…that would have to be done outside, and it’s currently close to 90 degrees at midnight! X.x
If I am lucky, I might get a chance to use my parents’ extra-large shower to check him indoors.
@PooltoyWolf well also I assume that is the highest point structurally in horizontal orientation and therefore might appear to be the place to concentrate… But if any internal chambers have failed. Could be a paw pinprick. I assume you’ve considered vertical orientations?
I think we just mixed soapy water up in an bucket and covered it on area by area. No sprayer required as long as you could keep the film up and some air pressure. Which could just be a hug
@unksol He DOES get lots of hugs! Truth be told, the most likely source of air loss is one or more older patches failing, rather than open punctures or seam leaks. He’s got a LOT of patches, being 15+ years old and leading a very active lifestyle!
EDIT: I should add that his legs are separate air chambers, and the leak(s) are in his main body chamber.
@tricityladytn I would recommend a carafe style or single cup still style if a thing. The carafe is nice since no burner, standard coffee, extra if you need it in the morning.
But I’m not a coffee aficionado. I’m mostly there for the caffeine. And prefer my coffee black. Not for the taste though
@phendrick mmm well what cha been up to bro? Trying to find missing Legos? Something more nefarious like going to work? Or you got some weed I smelled?
Did I close the garage door?
@paulskrtic Me too. Luckily my ring cam looking at the driveway just barely shows if the door is closed.

Did I remember to click the meh button??
@MrGoodGuy Best answer!
/showme Worried anthropomorphized goat is leaving house and thinking “Did I click the meh button? Oh well, I can always blame society if I forget.”
@cfg83 Here’s the image you requested for “Worried anthropomorphized goat is leaving house and thinking Did I click the meh button? Oh well…”
@cfg83 I’d like that doormat and the cute buttons on his bag.
@heartny Oh jeez, the doormat is a slam dunk! …
/showme Sullen mediocrebots making doormats that say “meh”. One of many demotivational signs says “made with meh”.

@cfg83 I want some of these signs. Lol
Did I close the garage door?
Did I put my pants on?
Got to tell the Cat I will be back in a while & leave some music on for him!
what did i forget that i can’t think of right now?
None of these have ever happened to me.
Have left a wallet once. And also never do a pocket check to cover “did I zip my fly”. And you know. Have wallet and phone and keys.
Did lock the keys in the truck once and walk a mile and a half home/back while it was running.
Locked keys in the car a few times right after I got my license with the car in the back of a corn field.
For work. Not that smooth
Not the oven, but the gas burner that I use to heat up water for coffee. I’ve actually gone a block in my car & circled back around to go in & check.

Did I remember to give Fenris some air?
@PooltoyWolf I mean. Technically you could provide a feeder for when you send out that would maintain a minimum amount of pressure. And a maximum.
Big as I’m sure you know with almost anything more frequent cycles stress systems so…
You could have a pressurized tank to rapidly assist when you got home?
@unksol He only loses enough air to start to sag at the end of the average day, so it’s not too bad. Heh
@PooltoyWolf well that’s just a tail wag eh?
@unksol Funny you should say that - his tail used to be a separate air chamber from his body, but sometime around 2014 they joined together somehow!
@PooltoyWolf he’s had a bath with a bit of dawn/dish soap? Should make the scratch apparrant. Blow a bubble

Am I carrying enough cash to make bail?
